So get yourself one of these and set it to off-position for one click's duration during the night and leave wifi-booting for the past and skip the first step of future troubleshooting. Yes, you have tried turning it off and on again. They are under 5 €/$ a piece and the router consumes single digit wats of power, so a cheap one will do just fine.
